Everything changes, usually for the better, given time.
Evolution mostly occurs through various forms of ugliness.

God is asexual, universal, and lovingly pissed.
Everyone is always acting in their own interest, as they should.
Life is meant to be fun. Fun is often found in very unfunny places.

Biographical Statement

John David is a father, cook, and writer wandering the hills of western North Carolina. John David’s poetry deals with the connections between us; how we negotiate the tendrils of those consociations.
